It was another narrow defeat for the first XV on Saturday as we fielded 9 changes and were pipped by 29-22 at Worcester. Rich McKowen opened the scoring with a try in the first minute, on his return from injury in his 100th first team game. We led for most of the afternoon thanks to tries from Gareth Shuttleworth, Louis Harvey and Joe Kinghorn, but Worcester drew level down the slope in the second half and scored with just a few minutes to go.
The Seconds played at home to Nuneaton 3rd team and in cold and murky conditions the two teams played with great enthusiasm. We borrowed a couple of players from them to make up our number and we lost two later on to injury and a red card, but we played well throughout and finished on top by 36-19, with tries from Ant Batchelor, Chris Morris, Connor McKenna , Sam Russell, Brandon Kellet and Stu Campbell
The Colts entertained Kenilworth on Friday night and lost 17-7 in a close game. .Archie Thompson scored a try which Tom Van Der Hoven converted
